Gargrave War Memorial Re-dedication service and subsequent Vigil  were held at Saint Andrew’s Church in Gargrave on the evening of the 4th  of August 2014. These commemorative pages were first seen as printed display boards in Gargrave Heritage Group’s exhibition, displayed in St. Andrew’s Church.  The pages have not been fully adapted for web display. It was felt important that information the Gargrave Heritage Group had assembled concerning just some of the 53 Gargrave men who had lost their lives should be seen by a larger audience as soon as possible.  We realise that not all who lost their lives have been included in this presentation.  If you have any information about any of your relatives who have a connection with Gargrave and served in the Great War, we would be very pleased to hear from you.
